Yin Yoga Training Weekend led by Tami Hafzalla
$525

In our fast-paced world of constant notifications, packed schedules, and relentless demands, our bodies and minds rarely get a chance to truly rest. We’re wired and tired, operating in a perpetual state of “on” that leaves us disconnected from ourselves and burned out. This is where Yin Yoga becomes not just beneficial, but essential.

Yin offers an antidote to our overstimulated lives. It’s a practice of deep surrender that activates our parasympathetic nervous system- the body’s natural “rest and digest” mode that most of us desperately need but rarely access. In a culture that glorifies doing, Yin teaches us the radical art of being.

Nourish yourself this spring with a weekend of meditative Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is a quiet, soft, and deeply grounding practice. Postures are fewer and held longer. This style benefits both body and mind—soothing the nervous system and offering powerful self-healing. It cultivates awareness of inner silence, reminding us of our divine essence and connection to universal consciousness. Physically, Yin postures apply gentle stress to connective tissues (mainly fascia), bringing nourishing circulation to the joints and increased flexibility.

This weekend will give you the understanding and skills to deepen your practice and confidently teach Yin Yoga to students, friends, and family. You’ll learn Yin philosophy, physical anatomy, alignment, and subtle anatomy: including how postures correspond to the chakra system, meridian lines, pressure points, and organs.

Each day includes a nourishing Yin practice. The final practice features a Healing Sound Bath with Crystal Bowls.

This training is open to anyone wishing to learn new techniques of self-inquiry. All are welcome- you don’t need to be a yoga teacher. Each of us can share inspiration from an embodied yoga practice to create positive energy in the world.
