Membership FAQ's
What is the studio etiquette?
We always start class on time and lock the doors when it’s time to flow. Once the teacher has entered and begun, we do not allow late comers into the room.
Always sign in at the front desk. Please don’t breeze by and jump the line. Please wait in the line until it’s been acknowledged that our team has registered your arrival.
Once you are in the yoga room, it is a silent space. Please do not talk. Keep your verbal community connections for outside in the foyer or change room! It’s important to honor this to respect the others in the room.
We also encourage you to prepare yourself mentally and physically to stay in the yoga room for the duration of class. If you feel overwhelmed or ungrounded please don’t hesitate to simply lay down on your mat for a rest. If you absolutely need to step out, thats okay but please avoid making it a habit.
Take up the invitation and rare opportunity to leave your phone. Keep it on silent in the change room or leave it in your car. We all contribute to making the space sacred and this helps.
What if I cant make it to class?
You can cancel the booking the same way you made it – via your web browser on your phone or computer. Or via the app. Log in and hit cancel booking.
We ask everyone to make their best effort to cancel if you can no longer make it to class. If you do not cancel your class up to 1 hour before, we charge $15 for members or a loss of credit for packages. A $20 charge or loss of credit if you simply do not show up.
We are fair and reasonable people, if you have any questions or concerns please email us info@haleayoga.com

Your membership will auto renew unless…
Your Membership will renew automatically for the same duration and rate, unless you complete the Membership Cancelation Form online at least 5-7 days in advance of your renewal date. We make freezing (or suspending) your membership painless. After filling out the online Suspension Request Form, please allow 3-5 business days for us to process your request. The billing will automatically resume once freeze period has ended.
Do you offer discounts?
It is important for us to support our community as well as provide more accessible ways for students to practice. We currently offer discounts for full time students or staff of: UW, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Swedish Hospital, and King County Gov. If this does not apply to you, be on the look our for our Energy Exchange trade program, free classes, or upcoming sales.
What should I bring to class?
Ideally you bring a yoga mat, a towel (can be a regular towel or a yoga mat towel), and a water bottle. Choose to wear clothes you can move freely in and get sweaty. For the full experience, plan to shower and take your time after class. So it’s an option to bring a change of clothes (it’s not so fun leaving wet! Especially in winter).
If you don’t own a mat or a towel you can rent them at the front desk.
If you want to invest in your own gear, we sell a range of quality yoga mats and yoga towels. We also sell yoga props like straps and blocks.
We sell Boxed Water at the front desk and have a filtered water fountain to fill your own bottle.
